Animals in Arms

Educational programs for military families. We host an annual BBQ-style dinner and family day for children and their families on the Camp Pendleton marine Corps base. Featuring interactive animal presentations and education programs focusing on ecology and nature appreciation. Our program partnerships include the Al Bahr Shrine and the Scottish Rite Community.

The military family population is highly underserved and is often disconnected from the community in which the live.  Both because of physical isolation (living on-base or in military housing) and frequent moves, these families and children hardly have time to set down roots.  Because environmental education is important to everyone, we will customize a program to target this groups needs.
